Agriturismo “La Fonte” is located between Sala Consilina and Padula near the III Century Baptistery of “Marcellianum”. Limpid and fresh water gushes from the Baptistery, definetely a godsend if you can drink it! La Fonte is run by Michele Rosciano and his family. They have a fishfarm (trouts, carps, sturgeons and other fishes) and grow various kinds of vegetables and fruits, as well as producing olive oil, red and white wine.
The house has been carefully renovated according to the original shape and is surrounded by green fields. The estate has a dining hall with a fireplace (built with the typical white stone of Padula), the ideal place to taste our dishes and wine. La Fonte has 4 rooms with private bathrooms on the first floor, and all rooms have a view over the ancient Baptistery.

- Trekking, mountain-biking (the Baptistery is the starting point of the “Campania Frassati path”) ;
- Farming;
- In the summer, there are open –air evening parties where you can enjoy a nice trout and a glass of wine and dancing;
- Shopping, you can buy locally produced vegetables and fruits, fish, and home-made jams;

How to get there
By car
From the north, take the A3 motorway exit at Sala Consilina and go left on the “SS 19” for about 10 Km;
From the south, take the A3 motorway exit at “Padula – Buonabitacolo” and go right on the “SS 19” for about 8 Km
